Tauchen Award 2009
Anlässlich der Boot 2010 wird auch im nächsten Jahr von der Zeitschrift Tauchen wieder der "Tauchen Award" verliehen. Natürlich würden wir uns riesig freuen, wenn euch der Ilios Dive Club gefallen hat und ihr in der Rubrik "Beste Tauchbasis am Roten Meer" für uns stimmen würdet! Bye-bye Adam!
Bye-bye Adam! After spending half a year with Ilios Team, Adam is leaving back to Sweden to keep on studying. We all enjoyed to have him here, wish him all the best and hope to see him soon again! As farewell the whole team went on a sunset dive together, which was great! |

Lucky winner Rob Walker enjoyed his week at Ilios!
Hi there,
I'd just like to drop you all a mail of warm thanks from Nile, Marisa and myself for organising this holiday for us. We had a fantastic time, everything went smoothly, and I would not hestitate to recommend you to my friends and family.
Good luck to the CDWS in it's quest to improve safety and operating standards within the Red Sea, and well done to Ilios on their equipment and professionalism. Definately one of the best dive centres I've had the privilage of diving with.

And the winner is....
In 1.54 minutes Jan-Peter managed to assemble the scuba gear together! We are happy to welcome him in Ilios Dive Club for some amazing dives in the Red Sea!
We could hardly believe what we saw over the week: only two out of fifteen people joining the game were able to set up their diving equipment! O.k. there was a small difficulty there, we did reassamble the BCD buckle before....
Nearly nobody managed to put it back together again, even though there is numbers written on how to do it. So conclusion: practise all of you and see you on the Boot 2010 in Düsseldorf! |

EUF certified
Ilios Dive Club is a EUF certified Dive Club. The European Standards define the state of the art for safety and quality of scuba diving and scuba diving services. Certification means that an independent body confirms that a service has been tested and that its quality is subject to proper control mechanisms.
Ilios Dive Club got checked by the auditors of the Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Water Sports and is entitled to use the EUF Conformity Mark.

Who is the faster one but at least in 3 minutes? We will give you a tank, BCD and regulator and you assemble it together. No problem? That´s what we thought and after we had a lot of fun with the results last year!
