The Open Water Diver course will provide you with the basic knowledge and abilities to dive in the open water in a safe and enjoyable way. After finishing the course successfully you will get an international certification, depending on your self-confidence under water and your ability to help your dive buddy. The certification is seperated in three levels:

Level A: You are able to help yourself and your dive buddy in case of problems under water.
Level B: You are able to help yourself, but not able to help your dive buddy in case of problems under water.
Level C: You are not able to help yourself or your dive buddy in case of problems under water.

Course presupposition:
* 12 years of age
* Diving medical statement (done by a diving physician in cooperation with your personnel physician)

Course components:
* Theory:  ca. 12h with multiple choice exam at the end (orally or written)
* Pool or confined water with 5-6 dives
* Open Water Dives: min. 4 dives

Ratio Instructor / Student 1:1, with 1 extra assistant
